Cotton Potholder

Size 8 needles, cotton yarn - this looks really good with a 2 or 3 color vareigated but solid is also good.

Cast on 25 stitches with three strands of yarn.
Row 1 - all Knit (Garter Stitch)
Row 2 Continue in Garter stitch until length equals width.
Bind off on last knit row, saving a lenth of end yarn of about 6 inches.
To make a loop, create a chain with end yarn with a crochet hook or your fingers. Attach at the base on the loop with a crochet hook or yarn needle and tie off.
