Easy Hat

Size 15 needles, 3 strands of Worsted weight yarn

SMALL

Cast on 36 stitches
Knit until your piece is 5 inches long
Next row: *K4, K2 tog* 6 times.
Knit one row and then in between each of the following decrease rows.
*K3, K2 tog* 6 times.
*K2, K2 tog* 6 times.
*K1, K2 tog* 6 times.
*K2 tog* 6 times.
K row. You will have 6 stiches on your needle See Finish.

LARGE

Cast on 42 stitches
Knit until your piece is 6 inches long
Next row: *K4, K2 tog* 7 times.
Knit one row and then in between each of the following decrease rows.
*K3, K2 tog* 7 times.
*K2, K2 tog* 7 times.
*K1, K2 tog* 7 times.
*K2 tog* 7 times.
K row. You will have 7 stiches on your needle

FINISH FOR HAT

Leave a tail at least 25 inches long and cut your yarn. Thread your yarn through a yarn needle and thread the needle through the remaining 6 (or 7) stitches on your knitting needle. Thread it through again and sew up your seam. To sew your seam, hold your sides together flat. Make sure your rows line up so that at the edge of the hat both sides are even. You will see knots and then a line between them. Go in through the lines. Whip your stictches in and out always going in on the same side and out on the same side.
