Drop Stitch Scarf with Size 19 Needles

Size 19 needles, 6 weight yarn - super bulky

GAUGE

8 stitches = 5 inches in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK GUAGE.

SCARF

Cast on 8 stitches
Knit 6 rows (this will create 3 ridges)

WRAP ROW

K1, *wrap yarn around needle (clockwise) twice, K1, repeat from * across (7 more times).

NEXT ROW

K1 then drop off to the front the extra wraps from the previous row. Continue knitting each stitch and dropping to the end of the row.
Knit 3 rows.
Continue in the pattern of knitting the Wrap row, then the knit and drop row and 3 knit rows (total of 5 rows) to desired length.
At the end of the pattern (following the 3 Knit rows), knit 2 more rows and bind off in a knit row.
